The MusiChi SRV-01 server is different from any other server on the market, in that it is based on a minimalist, purist High End philosophy, designed to render the digital audio stream to your USB DAC in the cleanest and purest way. It uses minimal power, re-clocks the signal, has no moving parts nor fans. The operating systems and all other software is stripped down to the absolute minimum, so the hardware is busy with absolutely nothing other than the rendering of the optimal bit-stream to your DAC.

The diference is clearly audible and has to be heard to be believed. You can run any commercial streaming software on the SRV-01, but it is optimised specifically to give you the best results with your home library, where its performance is worlds apart from any other music server.

When you run it on your home library, the server does not even spend valuable CPU resources on a user interface: It comes with proprietary MusiChi Server Edition software which takes only minimal network trafic commands from any Windows-enabled home-networked device such as a tablet. The client tablet then hosts MusiChi’s customary player and library management software, leaving the server to do nothing but its core job, to render an optimal digital bit-stream to your USB DAC.
